Through hard work, dedication and exquisite attention to detail our team and the Bright Event Rentals team completed the Product Catalog early this year. The catalog features superior products and inspiring photographs that showcase what Bright Event Rentals has to offer in a total of 272 pages.

Marcy Joyce, Designer and Writer for Left Coast, along with the Left Coast Marketing Creative Services Team, played a key roll in the design of the catalog and helped transport it to its beautiful completion.

Left Coast had a big part in the catalog between designing the pages to shooting all the product photography. It was a large-scale project that we took on and are proud with how it turned out.

The beautiful Benziger Family Winery was founded over 30 years ago when members of the family introduced a new light into the world of wine, making green farming mainstream. They value three things: family, wonderful wine, and a healthy vineyard. You cannot visit the winery without indulging in all those values. From their warming staff, to memorable wines and beautiful landscape, Benziger tops the charts when it comes to Sonoma Valley destinations.
Working with people who cherish the same things we do is a blessing, that is why we love having Benziger as one of our Clients. They make the job feel less like work and more like a fun and rewarding hobby. We have had the honor of working closely with their marketing and design departments on product and on location photography, wine club newsletters, and even their annual holiday catalog..
Designing newsletters has always been a secret favorite of ours because we get to step away from some of our normal projects and bring a little more creativeness to the Design. Whether that be experimenting with different colors, layouts, shapes and fonts; do not get me wrong we do that with other projects as well, but newsletters always bring a little extra fun and challenge to us. This spring we even got to dive into designing newsletters for the sister winery, Imagery. The Design for Imagery took a more modern approach which was refreshing. See the finished product below!
Not only did we design the newsletters for Imagery and Benziger this spring, we also got the chance to do the Photography for the annual Annual Holiday Catalog as well, which expanded on the newsletter design elements and provided something special for members to enjoy when they open their delicious box of wines.
Of course you cannot have Design without Photography! We are lucky to have Benziger utilize us for Photography as well. We love visiting the winery itself and it is way more fun doing a photoshoot on location than in the studio. The last two years we shot on location for their holiday catalogs and even for a Food & Wine Magazine. Every chance we get we love going out to the winery because the people are great, the wines are spectacular and the landscape is breathtaking.
While we love designing and creating tasting notes, holiday catalogs, magazine articles, websites and so on for our fabulous clients, occasionally and most recently we have adventured into designing advertisements. As tricky as they can be, over at Left Coast Marketing, we like to speak to our clients customers the way their wine does...full of body and character.
Each ad we create has to stand for our clients brand, name and character. While trying not to get too carried away with fun brainstorming, we dedicate our time to really relating the message our clients want for their customers.
Recently we have worked on a print design ad for Trentadue Winery. Below the Trentadue ad was for the Press Democrat highlighting the 2016 Sonoma County Harvest Festival. On the right we designed an ad for Bellwether Farms which was featured in the Spring 2014 edition of Wine Country Lifestyle, our custom published magazine.
We are a graphic, print, web, and advertising design team trained to change, manipulate and recreate masterpieces...because we always want to get it perfect in the end.
While the wine industry is our speciality we still love to reach out and expand our talent to businesses in need of design. Below are ads we created for A Dream Wedding & Cline Family Cellars which was featured in Wine Spectator Magazine. Businesses always need to be putting themselves out there and we want to be there to help do it in a creative way.

The redesign of Wine Country Lifestyle was a pretty big deal here at Left Coast Marketing. WCL (we call it) is a magazine that we produce, customized per client. Because each magazine is customized, redesigning the magazine also meant that we would be redesigning our Clients' magazine – so we were cautious not to let our ego get ahead of us. Market research is what we began with. Who is our customer? Who, ultimately, will be the one flipping through the pages, reading the articles, and admiring the photography? In our line of business, our customer goes beyond our Client. The true customer is our Client's customer. In this case, it is the wine club member who just opened up their club shipment and decided to flip through the pages of the enclosed magazine (meanwhile sipping on their new wine and reminiscing about the wine country). Once we nailed down the WHO, we got to begin on the WHAT. We put together a few mocks for a new cover design and table of contents, and sure enough we had a winner.
The new logo for Wine Country Lifestyle now emphasizes "Lifestyle" versus "Wine Country," a small but important detail to us as a company. We are looking to expand beyond the box of the wine country, meanwhile maintaining roots in where we are. After all, it is clear to any passer-by that we are rooted in the wine country, and we sure do not produce wine, so let's focus more on the lifestyle that us local wine-lovers live.
St. Francis Winery got to be the first Client experiencing the new design. They have been a fabulous Client to work with, as it is not their first time in the rodeo, and they are open to the magazine evolving as we evolve. We are excited to present this Fall's Wine Country Lifestyle, and invite you to flip through the pages of our digital version.
