California Wine Country is left heartbroken after the destructive wildfires burned through the beautiful landscape that so many of us call home. Although so much is lost, the determination to come together and help is what these communities are all about. There are so many amazing organizations and ways to get involved, below are five ways to help victims of the devastating Northern California fires.
Russian River Brewing Company : Russian River and King Ridge Foundation have started www.sonomapride.com a website where you can donate money and view a list breweries that are each releasing one of their signature beers under the Sonoma Pride label with 100% of the proceeds being devoted to the Sonoma Pride fundraising effort.
Donate: Petaluma officials have posted on social media asking people to donate supplies, including baby food, pet food, water, blankets, and toilet paper, to evacuation centers (NBC Bay Area has a full list of drop-off locations).
Red Cross: The Red Cross helps distribute disaster relief aid. Not only can you make donations online, you can also call 1-800 RED CROSS or text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation. https://www.redcross.org/donate/1017c
